This piece is an homage to Viola Frey and her legacy, specifically in ceramic sculpture in the Bay Area. In particular focusing on the labor of art/work, her commitment to her practice and to honoring what is made by hand, and her observation and use of color. 46" x 18" x 18" ceramic, underglaze, glaze, copper oxide, high fire wire.
